Gary Nixon past away

Found out today, thru Facebook, that one of the greats has past away :'(...............Gary Nixon, age 70, died thru complications after a heart attack earlier. R.I.P Gary, ride with the gods.

As a kid his was one of many RR posters I had adorning my wall.

 That is a bummer.. think he was at the Del Mar Mile in 96, I think he ran in the short track on a vintage racer...RIP..

RIP. What a racer,what a man.Wild man! Still faster @ 70 than most of us in our prime.A real class act.FUN was his middle name.Gary,do we have to wear helmets up "there"? :)Bill

read about Gary Nixon earlier today on another forum  :'(, i recieved a package off him a couple of weeks ago when i bought one of his famous t shirts  8), Rip Gary .

barry sheene always wore a nixon t shirt when he raced ,  rip gary you managed to fit allot of life into those 70 years .
