I think that this is one of the rarest EGLI Frames which you can find : EGLI HONDA 500 , only 18 RACE FRAMES were build (Fritz W.Egli told me).
The Frame/Bike was sold /send via an EBAY Auction to Germany. I friend of me bought the Bike. Location of the EGLI now : Hamburg
I am also own an Egli Honda 500/600 , Details have been announced here already

NO, bike is sold. When I finished it the original owner raced it at AHRMA Vintage Days at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course and then we sold it to a man in Germany.

I just found the pictures, so it is a bit of history now.

but now that you mention it i had wondered likewise about the machine you posted as well; it's not always clear who still owns what.

i never knew egli had frames for the 500/550. this only adds to my pipedream fodder.

Yes I own my EGLI HONDA 500 still.
The Engine was totally rebuild and goes very strong: 220 km/h onfirmed by a Digi Speedometer.
 The last Picture shows the USA EGLI 500 which is in the Hands of my friend in Hamburg

Yes, that is bike as it was when it was shipped to Germany. It had full on, Pop's Built Yoshimura engine.

My Egli 500/600 ist build up with CB750 F pistons, Yosh. ST 2 Camsh., Ported Head, Suzuki GSF 600 Flat Slide Carbs 31 mm 4/1 from Marving but Rear Can from a German Manuf. named SCHEIBEL
This Egli is a "0" Frame , Handmade for Racing only. Absolutly straight no Tolerance.
Orginal Honda Tach, Kröber Rev. Counter, RACETECH Oil Pressure/Oiltemp. intrument in one 52 mm Housing, Nylon Rear Sprocket , Homemade Electric, Kawasaki 550 Electronic Ignition, Kawasaki GPZ 600 Coils, Alloy Bolts all around and many othe small Things.......
