Saw that on eBay. My concern would be the tank is rusty on the inside and will need a cleaning and possibly a liner. Both which could damage the paint during the process. Usually you clean and maybe line before paint. The guy may have got more if the tank had been cleaned first.

HAHA, 900 bux and they aren't even a matched set, early K tank graphic and later K side covers and badges.....

Those will go on a "restored" bike that will shortly be listed on ebay for a $6K+ "buy it now" price. ::)
(For that price they could at least paint the left side cover correctly.)

Round here it costs about $1000 to have a bike painted, candy paint or not. To me who could give two craps about 100% restored that looks like a nice restomod set that wouldn't make my bike look like the department of sanitation should be picking it up curbside.

There was a 1975 CB550K tank and sidecover set in Sunburst Orange last year that sold for $875 Buy It Now with a $50 delivery fee. Crazy. Some people have more money than brains or motivation I guess.
