Looking for 1977A parts
« on: June 18, 2011, 04:16:58 AM »
Hi,
I bought a barn find 1977 cb750 a It came with the Windjammer farring, I would like to bring it back to stock. I am looking for the headlight assembly along with the mounts. as well as a seat. and a grab bar for it. It will be a long while working to restore this bike. I just cleaned a mouse nest out of the airbox.

Thanks,
Jim

I have a spare head light bucket that needs painting to be nice, but it's not cracked. I also have a pair of mounts for the bucket (they bolt to the fork sleeves). But I don't have a spare pair of fork sleeves for the mounts to bolt to. The bike had a fairing on it, and the PO sawed off the turn signal mounts.

Are the 77A parts you need different than the 77K?

I have the seat wit grab bar. Seat is a 9.8 out of 10. Also, I am turning mine into a cafe racer so I have every original part you need. Just let me know what you need.

the fork ears off a cb 550 will work and mount the headlight bucket but you have to undo the top tripple clamp and slide them down over the forks to the rubbers then sandwich them under the top clamp
