SHE RUNS! Few more questions tho...
« on: May 03, 2006, 06:35:41 PM »

Okay, i bought some seafoam and some new plugs, turns out one of my plug wires came out of the peice that attaches to the plug itself, where can i get a new set of wires? Mine are all hard and wont flex.

At first with the seafoam mixed in the gas it was running on cylinders 1 and 2 but 3 and 4 were dead cold, but when i capped my hand over the intake on the 3 and 4 carbs they would pick up and start running and if i took my hand off fast enough would stay running for a second or two. I shut it off, being very angry, let it sit for alittle while while i played some xbox360(haha), i came back out and fired it up and it ran like a dream. Nice idle, nice throttle response, still felt like it was lacking on top end power when i rode down the street.

So if i am going to be running some pod filters(which i bought today) and a new 4-1 header(also bought today) which jets should i replace or enlarge? and to what size? I dont know which is the main jet and which is the slow jet.

Another thing i was curious of, whats the biggest back tire i can fit on the back wheel without mods? like a 110-90-18?(thats what dealership guy told me). And any tips on repainting my frame? And is the Dyna electronic ignition worth the money? Will i feel any difference in throttle response like they say?

I thought my DynaS was worth the money. Since you got a new exhaust, let me know if you want to get rid of that one. Is that 4-2?

Yea, its dual drag pipes, my uncle said they were some kind of factory option that he had put on the bike before he took it home from the dealership, there rusted and probably would need to be re-chromed or painted black. And there is no baffles, i cut them off shorter at an angle and removed the baffles, VERY VERY LOUD, sounds like a HD.
