All Balls themselves are out of stock, according to their website.  Here's a Google shopping search for their part number (#22-1011): http://goo.gl/XejK6

You may have to just start calling people to see if they still have a kit in stock.

Good Luck,

A couple weeks ago I looked at buying the kit, but nobody has them in stock. I talked to 5 different retailers and got the same reply.

That said, send a PM to OldScrambler. He has an unused set he will sell you.

...might try buying a 750 set...aren't the front ends on 550 and 750 interchangeable?  If the 750 set doesn't work, it's not a terribly expensive kit, and I'm sure someone on here would buy it off ya.

I went searching for an AB steering bearing kit for my '80 CB650... it was part # 21-1011 too.  From what I saw, it looks like pretty much all of the CB models use the same size steering head bearing.

I think the ones for my bike are a #22-1011.

I just got the email that my order had been cancelled. Anyone have any updates? I searched around to find out what was needed before allballs started making the kit but I couldn't find anything. There has to be a way to piece together a kit. I already have the lower half of the kit.

I'm looking as well.  Did they say why the order was canceled?

I got some finally a few days ago off of ebay.  I wasn't happy that the seller was listing items that he didn't actually stock or have in his possesion after purchasing them.  It took me about 3 weeks to get them after he told me that they were back ordered.  I was going to initially leave negative feedback because I think selling stuff like that is crap.  However in reality I wouldn't have gotten around to installing them until now anyway.  No need to trash somebody's feedback score if I wasn't really out anything.   Going to give the installation a shot this weekend.  I got them from user atvunlimited and he had them marketed for a CL450.  Like the previous poster said the 22-1011's fit a ton of bikes.
