Topic: What are these parts???

My son bought and sold a VT750 Shadow Spirit and these parts came with it and are left over. I see the box says Cobra carb performance kit, but what is that Kuryakan air intake for if there is already one on his bike? It has the large butterfly on the front and air cleaner inside. Some kind of special performance deal? I think the PO told him it was some kind of gas mileage improvement kit? I have no idea on these aftermarket parts...click the pic to enlarge.

Hey Johnie, A lot of Harley guys run these but they will work on most V twin engines. I've always heard them go by the name Hyperchargers. Its just a aftermarket setup that is suppose to, like I said suppose to per advertisement give your V twin some more HP by the design allowing more air to be sucked into your carb. They do look good, but weather it really does what it says it will do your guess is as good as mine.
