Halcyon 820 vs 830 mirrors
« on: August 10, 2011, 07:13:48 AM »
I'm ordering some Halcyon mirrors (the best mother-in-law in the world is bringing them back with her when she's visiting family in the UK in September  ;) )

I can't decide between the 830 (round) and the 820 (angular) though, and the product photos don't give you a good idea if they're not mounted on a bike. Anyone have photos of these actually mounted on a bike (especially the 820)?

PS - it's for my '76 550F, which will receive mild cafe treatment.

Given that these bikes have more rounded surfaces, the round mirrors would look best I think. the angulars would "stick" out.

Yeah, round was my first choice, but then doubt set in...

Anyway, eventually found some pics of the 820:

Doubt dispersed. 830 it is.
