Thought you might all like a look at something I've been working on for a while... a bit different to the usual cafe, and rides rather nicely too

Awesome bike, and it looks like it handles very well.  Details on the swing arm and wheels please.

G'Day Tim, that's looking good mate, I'm not sure about the LC Yamaha wheels, I didn't like them on the Yamaha's either. I do like the clever LC inspired mono-shock rear end though, very tidy! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Cheers guys.... I wasn't so sure about what wheels myself but one mock-up with wires convinced me that cast wheels were the way to go, and the spokes of the LC wheels being curved did fit in with the overall theme. Am still wondering if they would look better painted red (in part) though...

Running through the other comments.... forks & calipers are LC-based too, swingarm is by JMC with a White Power monoshock, and yes it does handle really well; anyone on here who's built something knows that test ride moment when you wonder if it'll all actually work and be any better... this surprised me by how well it does handle, it feels really planted and rigid and just kind of right. It is extremely light and that helps too, though it is a bit too compact for me. The headlight was meant to be a nos CB450 item when I picked it up a few years ago, but tbh I wouldn't know the difference from a CB77 item so who knows. No tacho indeed, but I can listen to the music...

Finally, as for the road, well although there are more fun ones to ride in my book, that is a pretty good spot for photos and the place also has a lot of history; at about that exact point the road is crossed by where the main runway of RAF Seething used to be, which was a WW2 USAAF base for B-24 Liberators of the 448th BG. The main runway actually crossed the road from left to right in that final picture, there are still several of the airfield buildings nearby and the control tower is restored and well looked after too.
