hello, from washington!
« on: August 09, 2011, 06:24:33 PM »
state, to be specific. and yelm to be even more precise. I'm a transplant from Olympia and I work as a librarian. This year I gave myself the birthday present of an MSF class and got my endorsement. I had wanted a CB750 for a while and found this pretty baby! I'm a major newbie but I am learning more everyday and I love that. Nice to meet you all and I'm really glad to have found this site. Tons of useful info!

Oh, and I tried to follow the instructions and make an account and album in the gallery but the gremlins weren't having it. It kept saying that the username was already taken even when I made up the most random names... Anybody had any issues like this?

Welcome to the site Sedna!  That is a very nice looking bike - congratulations on your new acquisition!  How does it run?

Runs like a champ so far! Sadly, it's in my driveway hooked up to a battery charger... Made the mistake of leaving the ignition on the parking setting and didn't see the light on during the day till it was too late and I had majorly drained the battery. whoops, won't be doing that again...    :-\

One good thing from that- making that mistake has made me glad I have a kick start!

You ain't kidding about that! In fact, just yesterday my bike died suddenly (luckily I was only a block from home and could push it back  ::)) and thanks to a number of threads on this site I figured that it was the main fuse, well, that and the battery needed a good charge. Anyway, popped a new one in and she started like a champ this morning! I love this site and have only started to uncover what an awesome resource this place is.
