Throw the bums OUT....
« on: August 16, 2011, 04:44:40 AM »
Ok, did you think this would be/could be a political thread?
 ;D

Well, some bums have decided to move across the street. I would like to
have them thrown out but the grandmother whom lives in the south says
she allows her relatives to use her trailer.
Usually the sons/grandsons etc etc that live there are ok, but this last guy
is an alcoholic whom just got convicted for a 3rd offense and has no license,
ie, he's there all day/night, still partiying usually until 11:00pm + with the
loud music and women of questionable reputations.

ANYWAYS.....

Politicians:
I bet most everyone everywhere, want to just get rid of the currnet crop
of dishonest, unscupulous, and unresponsive policticians in offices.
Why is it we can never seem to elect honest people to office?
IN my opinion no matter whom is in office, nothing changes for the good,
just more laws written to undermine our rights and force us into little control
boxes, where the wires leading in produce shocks everytime we misbehave.

Do these boxes have to exist?

I honestly believe in the near future we will not have "politicians in offices"
but have a more representative form of government for the people, by the people
via the power of the internet.

peace,
michel

The problem has always been that while the electorate may have a low opinion of Congress as a whole they always viewed their own reps in a positive light.  Now for the first time in our history a majority of the electorate has a negative view of Congress and THEIR own representatives.
The other issue is over the years the districts have been gerrymandered to make more and more of them safe districts for one party or the other.  You look at some of the boundaries and they are just bizarre.

As far as the bums across the street just keep your stuff locked up.  It's hard to pick your neighbor.  :P call the cops whenever it gets out of hand.  Maybe they will catch him with booze and some  underage kids.
