CB750 K8 owners please verify wheel size......
« on: August 16, 2011, 08:07:11 PM »
The K8 I just got running 2 nights ago appears to have a 17 in. rear wheel ! Tyre size is 120/90/17 !!
What the heck !...... I noticed the brake  arm adjuster needs to be way past '90 deg.' for the brake shoes to be adjusted correctly too.... some PO 'prolly changed it out. Hey, it had a big King/Queen seat too when I got it  ::). So, just to be sure I'm not looney ( or loonier than I am  :D ) the stock rear rim is 18 inch, right ? , same as K0 thru' K7
If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,

What if I changed it for an 18 in ??....Look how puny the stock 17 in. wheel looks, look at the wheel to rear fender clearance, strange iddinit !

Side note;  Trying to find a spoke set for this 17 inch rim.... now that I know it's correct  :D... can't find a vendor that has for 17 in..... anyone know ?

Spanner mine is 17 this is correct. My local Honda dealer said they can order (1) or the whole set. and there is allways Buckmans $$$$. I never have found a reason why Honda did this. My brake arm is at 90deg maybe 95deg don't know why yours is off. I got mine with that big seat just got a stock one with new cover. That big one is nice nice after 200 miles but damn ugly.

Allmost forgot these guys $2.22 each They show in stock.
