It appears clean as a whistle, but even if it has lots of internal engine go-fast goodies, seems like $7000-10000 to me. To each his own.

i would imagine with a cafe, you put more money into it than its worth to get it looking the way you want.  Ive not done one so i wouldnt know first hand. But 20k imo is crazy.  I mean, you could have several bikes for that.

I know the market is up on these things, but wowww.  I hope that is a mis-type.  If not you ought to provide a tiny bit more information for $20,000

Details: Carpys is a supercharger, not a Turbo. He says in the text he should have used a Turbo as the Supercharger gave him fits. As to the engine, I found no mention that it was bored. Rather "blueprinted, polished and ported" which can mean a lot of different things. Had it been me and I'd punched it out I'd a said so. Also, no mention of rods or crank work.

can't deny the work he's done on this bike. But the holes in the presentation bother me. I've been thru the video and text twice and never see a mention that it has actually ever ran (run?). May be why he can't sell it? OCICBW

Mine doesn't run either.  :'(  It does have Arias pistons, Crower rods and an APE Race crank.

He's been trying to sell that one for a while. He's freakin dreaming even in the Canadian economy which is doing a lot better than ours, it's only worth what someone else will pay for it. The problem with douchebags like this is he wastes space on craiglist for people that are serious about selling their stuff. I see it all day everyday.

If you are trying to sell a vintage motorcycle for 20 large maybe you shouldn't take your listing pictures in the nearest Wal-mart parking lot..

There is about 1% chance this posting is even real.  20large and you don't even take the time to write anything about it other than "its a real cafe bike" come on.  Someone saw a nice cafe in a parking lot, took 2 pictures and posted it on Craigslist.  Someone ought to contact this guy and ask him questions about the bike.  If anyone was posting this for real they would have listed every last detail.
" Why does anyone get offended by what someone does to their own bike? I dont get it. "

You made me think about it after I cheered knowing someone else would like to know what these control freaks are up to.
Every time any owner strips whatever precious Honda part the horrified purists parts go up in value. That's not the part that bothers them.
What bothers them is they sat up late at night, their breast full of wonder and estrogen, unable to sleep, dreaming about their lovely darling and all her glory... and next thing you know someone else doesn't share their emotional deluge and their reaction is they must spread their mind museum as far as they possibly can, taking over as much of the real world as possible.
