You'd wanna wave fast then mate, I've passed cars on it at 45 MPH, and that aint flat out! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I dont get why anyone on 2 wheels would not respect other 2 wheelers (bicycles)
Maybe I read that wrong and you just meant you dont wave.
I am usually on 2 wheels, and a lot of that around town is on bicycles.. having our Monday Nite Cruiser Ride  tonite..

I can never understand why any motorcyclist would put down another motorcyclist's bike.  Yea we all have different taste's in style and manufacture.  Being different is what motorcycling is all about to me.  As long as everyone has two wheels on the road and the wind in yer face that's all that really matters.
Oh, and if you don't have a turbocharger on yer bike, well yer just not as cool as me.  But i'll still talk to ya!  LOL !!

JOKES bwahahaha cool moped, how fast will it go w.o.t.? my buddy has a huffy with a 50 cc motor on it.  it was scary at 30+ mph

You made me think about it after I cheered knowing someone else would like to know what these control freaks are up to.
Every time any owner strips whatever precious Honda part the horrified purists parts go up in value. That's not the part that bothers them.
What bothers them is they sat up late at night, their breast full of wonder and estrogen, unable to sleep, dreaming about their lovely darling and all her glory... and next thing you know someone else doesn't share their emotional deluge and their reaction is they must spread their mind museum as far as they possibly can, taking over as much of the real world as possible.

G'Day Mark, how are you mate? Nah, no build thread, I just got bored over my Christmas leave in 2008 and built this one, after a mate bought my single engined bicycle I built a year prior. It is quite frightening to ride at speed, but it's scary fun.

My cuz is an ex- Suzuki factory trained 2 stroke specialist, and he's going to tune it to the max, and one day (barring personal tragedy/divorce/illness/massive floods that has prevented us over the last 2 years) we're taking it to Lake Gairdner in South Australia to run it on the salt flats.

I spotted some nitrous kits on EBay recently, so as long as they can be sent in the mail, I'll install a couple, at the moment it'll do around 50 MPH with my 280 pounds (of pure muscle..........) on it, but we're hoping to go a lot faster on the salt after some tuning. I do have some more pics I can send you, if you like? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey, I'm an artist man, just because you don't "get" it, doesn't mean that it's not frickin' gorgeous, the reflectors on the pedals make it go faster and the chicks love it.................

Oh, hang on a minute, you were just making fun? Damn! We artists are touchy baastards, sorry about that, you wound me right up then, I better go take a nap........... ;D

Ha ha, you're right Jon, I must change that tire, as it's at least 14 years old. I did think about what bert Munro would have done, but Aussie shoe polish costs more than Taiwanese tires, so I guess I can afford to do the safe thing............. ;D

Ha ha, well I think I've previously told you what I think of your opinion Andy, but I tell you what, you come over to Oz and I'll let you take it for a ride, (if you've got the 'nads.......) it's got an electronic speedo on it that measures up to at least 50 MPH, and you can see for yourself if I'm fibbing. Put your money where your mouth is, or keep it firmly shut.  :-X

I have a bicycle with a Stihl 051 on the back, had it running, but it needs guards and a bit of blending on the rear 120 tooth sprocket. I made both the 120 T rear , and the 10 T front. I cut the rear on the mill with an endmill so it is not perfect tooth form, the front I took a 10T and had to make a 7 tooth internal spline to fit on the stock centrifugal clutch.
I got pissed at it a few years back and tucked it away.
It is built for oval track vintage flattrack.
If that think does not break 50 mph I would be very surprised.. 89cc.. with maybe 8ish hp..

Thanks Guys, Andy has a bee in his bonnet regarding another matter, so I'm not interested in his opinion, but just so you all know, those are two 80cc two stroke engines (160cc in total) in a package that weighs around 20 Kg.

The lay shaft isn't there just to tie the two engines drive lines together, it allows me to alter the gearing as I see fit, so the standard gearing (as you'll see in the pic) has been upped considerably.

With 160cc's of two stroke power in a 20 Kg package with much higher gearing, it'd be terribly disappointing if it didn't do at least 50 MPH. Andy claims to be a scientist, but he's obviously not an engineers arse. Cheers, Terry.  ;D

No, Aussies ride backwards.  He's been doing a crapload of burnouts with his arse on the handlebars.  Don't ask me how the "rear" wheel is driven though.

And don't anybody pay attention to Retro's tough talk, he's got arms like a wee little 'roo, he won't hurt nobody :)

Thanks mate, and I appreciate your concern for my well being, but I think that pic might be a bit misleading, that tire isn't badly perished or "bald", it's a weird tire, it's "knobby" on the edges, and "slick" on top, but it's not worn out. I can't snap any more pics at the moment as it's parked at my cousin's house 200 miles away, but here are a couple more pics, not that they help all that much. The last one shows the "gearing up" that I mentioned earlier. Cheers, Terry. ;D
