 You have a 16 inch,
Yeah its shouldered, I hate em but I got a front so I may ine day run shouldered rear..
The Honda Aluminum ones used on GLs are not my fave either.. The dirtbike shoulderless are nice
Why did they use em back in the day/? , nothing else out there..
Back then it was Akront, Borrani, Raedelli.. in the pre magwheel days, its the only thing you could do to lighten your wheels other that changing complete wheel and going to disc rear..

Well my record is intact, still haven't seen an 18" Borrani Record rim.  But I must say, I'd never seen a 16" either. Maybe they used them on MotoGuzzis in the old country?

Back to the 18"... Dunstall sold a kitted out CB750 with pipes, fairing, rear sets, and ... Borrani Record Rims. I always thought it was weird that they used a 19" front and rear. We thought at the time it was to give the bike a little more ground clearance. But when I tried to fit them to mine, I ran into this issue of no supply of 18"s. So maybe Dunstall couldn't get them either.

Back in the day, it was thought that for best handilng both rims should be same size, Norton ran 2  19s I believe.

Well that's what we thought about the kitted Dunstall CB750. But does it really explain the lack of the 18" borrani?  I mean, wouldn't it have been better to have 2 18s? Or at least the option? Will we ever know?   :D

I think my 1967 Triumph Bonneville, and its successors, no slouch in the handling dept, had a 18 rear/19 front.
