Some updates to my CB750 CafeRod
« on: August 13, 2011, 03:54:40 PM »
So I went with the older style carbs for my bike and the airbox, which I painted flat black.

For the look of my ride, the stock speedo was a little too bulky, so I took apart a ratty old CB350 speedo and made a new face plate. Im still working on the knob for the clock, which is a fender jazz bass knob. Just gotta cut the arm a little shorter so the fit is closer. I think Im going to get a chrome speedo cover. It'll look a little more cleaner than the painted silver.

A stainless hex bolt kit came in, but didnt have time to install it. I need to have the warped valve cover milled over the winter, so I'll just wait until then.

A super freaking cool moth I found. He staying in our flower bush for a couple weeks before he died.
