Life is full of "what if's" , and most of us
bikers take the chance.
Most of us are above average in intelligence,
Most of us are hard working (when working),
Most of us are very safe drivers,
Most of us have college educations (6 years here),
Most of us are better looking than that guy over there,
and finally,
Most of us drive within our limits.

No where did I say/not say this guy was a former race circuit driver whom
had above average, even for our group, reflexes, which his was and does.
But....

Here is my excuse:  I LOVE to drive/ride.  So much so that I always try get better.  I understand that if I drop it at over 100mph that me and the bike (mostly the bike because as a human I heal) are gonna be FOKKED UP.  So I wait for true confidence that I can pull it off before I try it.  Also, my mother STILL prays a lot for me.  I guess that is the only reason I haven't gotten killed.  Had some pretty nice close calls, though.

Granny is not usually driving at 11:40pm at nite.

No, not usually, but no guarantee's right?  Also, lots of 2nd shifters heading home at that hour, nurses, factory workers, teens working at fast food.
Driving that fast on public roads should result in mandatory imprisonment and permanent loss of license.

never tried, had it lift it's front wheel twice though, unintnetionally of course, kinda made me cr@p myself the first time though. And back to the OP, I think it was a stupid thing to do BUT if you're gonna do it make sure that it poses minimal risk to all other road users

ONCE.  The bent frame made it wheelie to the left in the direction of oncoming traffic (my @$$hole bit a patch out of the seat!!!).
