This one shouldn't be too hard.  There are related places across the whole middle of the country from Minneapolis to Dallas.  Might be a little more sparse on the coasts but there are some.  I know of two within 3 miles of my house and several more in the wider metro.  Many years ago I lived across the street from a 4 plex where Dillinger recuperated from a gunshot wound. :)  Minneapolis/St Paul had very corrupt city governments/police back then and were an R&R location for the "Public Enemies".

There's Bonnie & Clyde stuff here in Dallas, but my next chance to get out on my bike won't be until next week.

the next mark is right up godzilla's avenue, a statue of a dinosaur at least as big as your bike, bonus points if it is a lifesize giant eg t-rex, brontosaur etc

I think Nessie will do. ;D  She moves around the various city lakes all summer so I had to hunt her down at Lake of the Isles.

How about a large wall mural on the side of a building.  Like this.

Are you talking about a bar that is closed for the night or one that has closed down?

Not out of business, but only open 2 days a week, so it may as well be!  And the women there make you do this funny body shaky thing they call... um what is it.. oh yea, DANCING!  Man! what a hell hole!

Next mark:  Kinda Halloween lite - a standing dead tree.

Yeah...I feel kind of bad about that.  His was much more impressive than mine though I could not find my big plastic owl to put in the tree....now that would have made all the difference. ;D
