It's cold weather time for many of us. I say we should be lax on enforcement of hitting the mark at least until spring.

It's not my game. Those are my two cents though.

True Socal.  Typed it out here at work with the link in the browser history.  When back and read it... Removed link.  She deserves her own thread, which she will get in due time :-)

Well, I kinda figured the thread might go on hiatus all by itself, if a lot of folks are feeling the cold.  Still, there still may be one or two of us in warmer climes.  :)

Alright, then - since we're on a horse theme - anything that would be pulled by a horse:  a cart, wagon, sleigh, plow, etc.

Mine was tucked snugly in the shop, wrapped in a comforter for a long winters nap, but I couldn't resist, it was dry, warm enough and the dome was nearby.

I'll call good on the hitching post, odd they don't auctually have one there.

Well, they probably DID have one at some point.

That sign USED to be more centrally located out front, not so much off to the side as it is now.  After about the 10th time it had been backed into by a patron who had had a bit too much, they kinda re-located it...     ;D   Actually, the last time it got backed over, it was leaned up against the side wall of the joint for at least a month before they finally put it up in it's new spot.

So, any actual hitching rail probably got the same treatment withOUT the relocation.   ;D

Well, this is turning out to be much harder than expected.  I made a run to a nearby bike shop then meandered around the country trying to find a horse-drawn anything, even passed several ranches and horse corrals ... nothin', nada

I grew up on a farm in KS w/ a covered wagon in the middle of the driveway circle, I thought I had this thing cinched!  Damn  :-\

We can keep this thread alive and kicking (and us entertained and green with envy) if we can get the Kiwi's and Aussies in on it!  Any other Southern Hemisphere riders out there?

Well I'm definitely running the heat tonight, I rode to work so that I could ride escort for a Vet's funeral during lunch.   I don't think the temps got above 50*F and wouldn't ya know it, the slight chance of rain became more than slight!

+1

And those of us in the Sun Belt will keep the thread warm in between! We can pretty much ride every month of the year here (82 today, 85 tomorrow...) so you "Snowbirds" (I can say that since I grew up in NW Ohio) get your rides in shape for the next riding season. Hope your garages are heated! (Wish mine was air conditioned)

I think our states weather is broken this year here in NC.  When my bike was running last week it was 36F.  This week 65F..  I think I'm seeing a pattern.

O.K. I believe the object is something a horse would pull. This is an old horse drawn grader. Sorry for the poor placing in the pic but I had my cell phone. I didn't have my glasses and the sun was bright so I couldn't see very well. LOL

DOH!  There is a grader just like that about 3 miles from me on display in front of the Road Commission garage!

Friday and today were great days for a ride. In the lower mid 60's. I put quite a few miles on the bike looking for the mark when I remembered this was across from the city building three blocks up. LOL

I still enjoyed the riding. It might be awhile before I get to again.

Do I get extra points for a sail boat and the everglades in the background?
O.k., I know it's a stretch, but finding a snowman in south Florida is not that easy.
Don't really think this counts, so I am not going to call another mark.

It was my mark and I'm good with it. What you did was exactly what I was referencing. I figured someone might come up with the noted inflatable snowman.

I agree Hef. the problem is, we had some rule nazis in the game that wanted to tell everyone what the rules were as we went along, now I think people are gun shy to call the next mark until someone gives them the go ahead. I say let the good times roll...
