I have never seen a Yugo in my life. I'll wait for the next mark. :)

Had a friend that drove one in high school.  Anytime I rode in it I'd pull off door panels and various other interior parts for fun.  Seemed like it was all just clipped-together cardboard.

I don't doubt it. Many years ago, a Yugo was blown off the Mackinac Bridge during a gale. Needless to say, the driver, a young woman, didn't survive the 200 ft plunge to the water.

I can't believe they were ever deemed safe enough to be sold in the U.S.  Especially since they came well after Nader sank his claws into the auto industry.  Even with the door locked on my buddy's Yugo, if you pulled hard enough it would still open.

I say give it a week.  Some will take longer than others.  I don't think we'll have any problem keeping the thread bumped up near the top with pointless banter, as we're all pretty adept at that. ;D

I just added this to the rules,

7. ALL MARKS WILL RECIEVE A ONE WEEK,(7 full days), TIME LIMIT.
If the mark is not found in that time a new mark needs be called.

I think that should give enough time to find any mark that is called.
That way, no matter when the mark is called, it will give everyone a full weekend to try and find it.

Does that work for everyone?

Yugo.

Friday the 9th, that is the dead line.
I would say check the junk yards, but I think all the yugo's got crushed with the beer cans,(not the good beer either).
I only live about 40 minutes from the Mackinaw Bridge. Maybe I can outfit a air tank on my bike and get a picture with the one at the bottom of the straits of Mackinaw.
I think it is only in about a 150' of water. I can hold my breath.
What? It could happen!

Holy crap!!   :o   :o   :o

Here's one for the bargain price of $2000!!  In Lakeland, between Orlando and Tampa.   :o   :o

http://lakeland.craigslist.org/cto/2506237982.html

1987 two door, hatch back, white, Yugo with clear title. As is, all sales final. The owner prior to me had it for 14 or so years. It's got a few minor issues. The alternator is new but for some reason is not charging so it runs on straight battery. Easy fix, I just don't have the time or money to put into it. I have a manual for it that I'll include. It's got a radio that works, also an airconditoner, runs cold, just disconnected from when we were trying to fix the car. The body is straight just some rust spots that are an easy fix also. Interior work is needed just because it's an older car, but it's clean. Few rock dings in the windshield but they're small and fixable also. Tires are only a few years old and they've been rotated recently. If you're interested or have any questions feel free to call or text me at 863.934.5406 ((cash only))
