In the interest of NOT loosing out on one of the few remaining weekends for rides in the north, I say yes, the FedEx truck qualifies.  So, we'll have a new mark as soon as Brycegp can get in here to call it.  If someone can get a pic of a letter carrier or postal vehicle in here before Bryce gets here, then they can call the mark.

If neither of that happens, then the next mark will be....

announced tomorrow as that will be the 7 day point.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Too late!

Fall is here and Spring is starting down under, so I know someone can come up with An Ice Cream Truck/ Ice Cream Stand. The Ice Cream Stand would have to have an ice cream cone out front or part of the building that is bigger than your bike. Extra points for a phat mom in the photo!

If an ice cream truck/stand has already been done then I'll call a new one. I'll review the posts now. Maybe the first post could be updated with a list of dead marks, like the "Godzilla Slept Here" thread.

Well, I GUESS this is an ice cream "stand".  Kinda big for that?  A full free-standing building - a Bruster's Ice Cream store.  No phat mom's since it was not yet open today - only 9:20am y'know...  :)  But, the place is always jumpin' after Little League games and soccer practices.

On the list, there was another between 11 and 12 - a little country church.  I got the church, having just missed the barn, and called the 10-story building.  :)

My call this time will be something that would be difficult for me to get, since I nearly always ride alone:  a  group shot - your bike with at least 5 other bikes. Not MANDATORY, but you should know them.  That is, not just a picture of your bike in the apartment or office parking area...  Bonus points if it's an "on-the-bike-in-action" shot, i.e.  a cell-phone shot in the midst of your ride (not that I'm advocating this wildly unsafe action...)  Bonus-bonus points if your bike is the only style of it's type - your vintage bike in a group of sport bikes or your sport bike in a group of Harleys.  :)

Yeah, I could have had the stand yesterday without the cone requirement. I do like the XL though.

I gota agree, the "Bigger than Bike" cone requirement was not met.

Ahhhhrg..  I mis-read that - I thought, in the event it wasn't an ice cream truck, that the BUILDING had to be bigger than the bike.  I guess I didn't stop to think the building would, of course, be bigger than the bike.   :-[   :-[

And my morning ride could've gone the other way where the whole building is a cone-shape - a Tasty Freeze.  Ah well.

Yeah, the XL is a great little machine.  Tops out at about 60mph, but gets 90 mpg!   :)

Sounds like a GREAT excuse for another ride to me!! :D

Most excellent!
Where is the fat, or I mean Phat kid?

Agreed!   And, what about those bonus points for the phat mom in the picture?  She looks a little phat to me...  :D   And, as an equal-opportunity photographer, I managed to include a phat dad too...

Kirk

I had to look back to see that you had called one after the failed attempt. I didn't realize at first that you turned around and made it happen. So I'm guessing the first mark stands as the group of "your bike + five"?

Yeah, same mark - a group photo with your bike.  I almost always ride alone, or at most, with my son, so getting a group shot would be a challenge for me.  Probably not so much, for some of you.

The other day, I came up on the tail end of about 30 Harleys and Harley wannabes out for a casual ride thru the rural area where I live.  I got a chuckle out of thinking that oncoming traffic might think that me on my little dual sport was part of this long line of dentists and accountants out for a "rolling thunder" ride.  :)  Wish I'd thought then to get an "action shot"  :)  But we were all together for only a mile or so before I turned off and they all kept going.

Happy riding!

Well, the picture is kinda supposed to be taken AFTER the mark is called, not just "Oh yeah, I have a picture like that..."

Otherwise, others must chime in, too.
