A road grinder, or rotomiller, I believe is what they are called.

After a week, you can call a new mark if the first one is to hard.
So call another one if you want to.

To revive it for the weekend, lets do road building equipment and/or road under construction.  Bigger machine extra points. :)

A road under construction should be easy enough to find around here, I should be on the bike tomorrow, Frostyboy is placing me in the custody of GZ at some point in time tomorrow. ;D

Psssh, I installed a new #$%*ter today, you old hag!   ;) ;D

Some of the new ones are great.  They'll flush a log the size of your forearm. ;D

Maybe we could get all Tim Allen like and hook one up with an SOHC.  Anyone need to flush their dog?  Anyone?
Just call me Timmaaaaay!!!

I never thought of it as a method of shutting up that barking mongrel next door, might need to fit it with an 836 kit, yoshi cam, one of MReicks heads and a set of CR's to get the mongrel down, it is a malamute  :o

Well, I thought I had this one in the bag today.  In front of the county road commission building not far from me is a road grader.  A vintage rode grader.  A horse-drawn road grader!  Figured I would be giving up the extra points for size, but could make up for it in the coolness factor.

Rode out to the commission building, and it was gone!  Just the four cement footings remain.  I hope they just took it down to have it restored.  But with the tight bux these days, they may have sold it for scrap!

SIGH

What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

This doesn't count, but I just couldn't pass it.

Road grinder on the right and pawing machine (Bessie) on the left.

And no, I didn't seem them in the area before I called the mark.

OK - I managed to get a pic of some road construction.  This is the tail end of a road-widening project - the end where the new lane tapers off and merges back to just a single lane in that direction.  We see some road still ground up, a new curb, new sidewalk. It's kinda tricky to pull into a construction site to get a picture during morning rush hour, then pull back out again.

And, my bike may not be a SOHC-4, but it's a SOHC Honda anyway - a '71 SL125 that I commute on every now and again.  :)

So, anyone keeping track of all the marks that have been called?  It's been a while since I've seen a list.

How about your bike next to a historical marker sign - one of those that described what happened on this spot 150 years ago, something like that.

Kirk

Easy in this area, we are 15 miles from Manassas battlefield, it does not get more historical than Virginia. Maybe New England?
