The example posted by CR is not a true restoration in my book, far from it. It also is not a street rod.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

I said if it wasnt restored I was cool with it. now he his hung up on being a truck.  My example was a truck.  Hell could have posted a old semi for all I care. Just didnt want some dime a dozen (ok more than a dime) over the top street rod.  Whatever another thread with people getting bent for no reason.
Old school you didnt hit a nerve just stop bit(hin about the thread and go get a pic. ;D
Evidently CR has bailed.

Oh I've been looking!  Only vintage cages I've managed to find around here are either too new or definitely restored or are so close to being just an orange stain in a field that I'm sure they are non- runners. Hitting that sweet spot between a piece of junk and someone's idea of rolling art is pretty tough!!

Guess I'll need to hit some back roads deeper into the countryside. Down where an objects function is more important than its form.  But isn't that what this thread is for?  To get out and get some saddle time?

Sorry for the drama, I was being selfish, wanting to get to an easier challenge. But it wouldn't be fun if it was easy!!
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Last mark I got I couldnt think of any.  So been thinking of some.  Been riding the back roads a lot and it just came to me.  Along with a couple others.
Figured it would be relatively easy.

Didn't Ambrose win at Watkins Glen Yesterday in a Ford....   Yep, thought so....

Really, i like great cars, don't really care what brand but i can tell you that i have been in some very fast Fords and Chevy's, they both have piles of potential, then of course there's Mopar, a good 426 will blow them all away.... ;D

I haven't seen nearly as many Fords dead on the side of the road lately (like they were 20+ years ago)... Is it that the quality has improved? Or maybe just that everybody has roadside towing service these days.

I think the quality improved somewhat - and fuel injection helped too.

Couldn't get my bike near the cars, it was an "oldtimerday" in the Netherlands, bikes were parked separately..

Will this do?

Unfortunately no ... it misses the mark :(

Not broke down or on the side of the road,
and your bike does have to be in the same pic.

'bout three more days left for someone to hit this mark. :)
