Can anyone help me with the length of the rear shocks on a 550?

This is the way to go. Give them a call. Tell them the year, make and model of your bike - along with how much you weigh and the type of riding you do. They will hook you up.

+1 on The link above to Dave Quinn. He deals in Hagon shocks, which do not make the exact length to fit exactly. He will suggest a size based on the criteria listed above, and seems to lean toward the slightly longer version, which he said would not impact steering like going with the slightly shorter ones.

Great guy to deal with.
