Topic: Blinker Issue

I have a blinker issue.  When I switch on the blinkers, either left or right, they just stay on and don't relay.  So I took out the first fuse, and then the relay works, but then my tail light blinks with them.  What is wrong here?  and suggestions?

"blinker" problems are typically a bad ground at one of the stems, mismatched or burnt bulbs, failed relay, or the wire colors in the headlight bucket have gotten messed up.  Did they work ever?

Yeah the blinkers used to work great when I had my bike stock.... Then I had my neighbor help me put on a cafe seat with a built in tail light, and ever since then i've been having electrical problems.  I think my so called neighbor f'ed up my bike.  He was very salty about it too.
