I really recommend going to an auto paint store to get real auto paint mixed up (they can put it in high quality spray cans too), buy primer from them, and buy a two part clear (in a can if you need). All layers can be applied about ten minutes apart without sanding the primer as long as the temp is warm and as long as you do not use sandable primer.
Warning: use a mask and wear long sleeves. The two part clear WILL cause serious damage that landed one member on this forum in the hospital, although that is not a typical issue.
Your local paint shop will give you appropriate directions which I really suggest you follow. You'll hate yourself if your paint peals or lifts just because you tried to save time/money.
