what do you think the percentages are of people that post here that does not even have SOHC/4 bikes or maybe no type of motorcycles period, they just talk it up good and post pictures of someone elses bike or bikes. I run across a few post here and there at times that things just don't seem to fit, the conversation or the bike pictures and after a few post you never here from them again.

Well I currently don't own a SOHC but don't pretend to either.

I have been around for 5 or 6 years now and still keep hanging around because for the most part the posts are still interesting to read and ALOT of the info aside from engine specific is translatable to other bikes of the same period (like my 80 CX500).

When I first found the site I had a 78K but since sold it and have been keeping my eyes open for another CHEAP project.

The other good thing about this site is the wealth of general knowledge. I have had guys assist me with everything from furnace repair to gun questions.

I love this forum.  You guys are great and all of your motorcycles are great too. 

BTW, what does SOHC4 stand for and how can I get one?  ::)

I didn't have a motorcycle when I first joined the forum.  I had one many years ago that I gave up.  A few years ago I decided I wanted to get back into it and started researching what kind/year bike I wanted, which led me to SOHC4, which is a great place to ogle bikes and learn about them, even w/o having one.  Thankfully, a few weeks ago I rejoined the ranks of motorcycle owners when I bought a '76 CB550 (truth or lie??? ;)).

While I really resent the accusation, I can understand how some people could develop some doubts so here's a picture of me on my bike.
My wife, Morgan Fairchild, took this picture just last week and I hope this puts an end to the rumors and speculation.

You made me think about it after I cheered knowing someone else would like to know what these control freaks are up to.
 Every time any owner strips whatever precious Honda part the horrified purists parts go up in value. That's not the part that bothers them.
 What bothers them is they sat up late at night, their breast full of wonder and estrogen, unable to sleep, dreaming about their lovely darling and all her glory... and next thing you know someone else doesn't share their emotional deluge and their reaction is they must spread their mind museum as far as they possibly can, taking over as much of the real world as possible.
