Team Pacific Northwest It's Your Turn
« on: August 16, 2011, 10:05:26 PM »
Wow guys, can you believe it, ONLY 5 states and 3 provinces left on the North American leg of our 2011 Relay. I have some serious frequent flier miles to burn before my divorce is finalized and would love to have a good excuse to escort Godzilla to New Zealand but my financials have to be in by 9/15 and the miles, of which I'd have to give up 50%, are considered an asset to the courts. Wouldn't I love to see a North American end date before then  ;)

Well summer just got here two days ago so timing couldn't be better. I'm on vacation from Aug 27th through Sept 7 on a road trip to Cali, so if GZ comes through Washington during that week, give him my regards. Too bad too I just got my old CB550K2 running fairly dependable too. I would trust it to go 100 miles or more no problem.

Who is planning on riding the PNW (Oregon, Washington, BC) leg?

I am supposed to get it across the border on 97.
I hope it does not fall on BUB week..

have to be in Calgary on the 26th Aug and would like to head to bub from there, but will come back to do rally if needed.. if it is that week, I may be able to do more of the Wa portion..
Any guesstimate when it will get to northern WA../

Recently sold the K5 and needed to cannibalize my K3 to close the sale in time. Assuming that my chain, sprockets and brake line show up in time I would like to join in, is the route coming through Southwestern BC?

Yeah, then stopping at yer place  ;D  ;)

754 is planning on picking up Godzilla at/near the border on Hwy 97 near Osoyoos. From there it's up to you guys and anyone else to get GZ to Vancouver for a BIG ASS PARTY to comemorate this great event!
