Actually a bit less than $500.00 because I took off some parts and used them on other bikes... But I added the master from a box of "stashed" parts but I don't have to add that cost right?   lol.

I love trying to see how little $$$ I can spend on a build. I will have to cave in however and buy a new front tire to match the rear and get rid of the bald scary front.

Well there are rats and there are rats... I do not like garbage rats the ones piled with crap and mud wether its a car or a bike. I like to defien rats as bikes or cars that are a bit unfinished and are wearing their well earned patina.

This bike was spray canned by a meth dealer. The chrome is both fading and peeling. The entire engine and carbs are covered in an atomic strength black wrinkle finish that looks like a toddler drunk on sour milk finger painted...
The aluminum is oxidized. The hayashi wheels are stained. The only really nice thing is the seat and that doesnt even have a coat of paint on it!

So for me rat cafe fits and I am sticking too it.

Ridable patina-ed functional rough art.

Where is the rat?

Most rat bikes are just sprayed with a couple cans of flat black and some animal horns taped on somewhere.

This bike looks much better. Like someone actually cared and used some skill.
