Man that brings back some very cool memories. I remember its first showing at our local drive in, it was the most motorcycles i had ever seen in one place in my young life {11}, i had to climb the fence to get a better look..... ;D

We used to go the cinema every Sat night to watch it when it was first released - a group of about 10 of us with the bikes parked out the front...we were soooo cool, haha. Caused a bit of havoc, but all in good fun. We used to add our own sound effects at the appropriate moments, much to the annoyance of first timers. ::)
Some of my mates painted up their bikes to match and even bought El Dorado helmets.... :D Quite possibly the worst looking helmets made.

I now have it on dvd and watch it now and then just to relive those times....the mrs doesn't seem to share my passion for it....she says it's crap, she might be right, but doesn't see it through my eyes (slightly rose tinted and misty, hehe).
I see one of the original "genuine" bikes (Toad's) was on ebay recently....

haha, that's probably the better part of the whole script, the rest is pretty ordinary... ??? As is the acting.
But hey, there's bikes and titties, so what else do we need eh.
