Wheel Balancing & Spoke Weights / R Sumin Differant
« on: August 21, 2011, 02:20:09 PM »
I'm planning on replacing the the frt tire in the near future on my bike..  I recently talked to a guy about good shop for having a  tire mounted & balanced . after suggesting 1 , he noticed  my rims have the wrap around spoke weights  for balancing,  He mentioned I should try or ask about these differant weights for the wheel balancing, he called them Dyna Beads some kind of coated pellets that is  put inside the tire before it is mounted on the rim . He explained that when the tire rotates the beads move thru centrifugal force to the area inside the tire to balance it. I told him my rims use a tubed tire setup on them , he said its still possible they remove the valve core and put the beads down the valve stem..  Has anyone had any experience or know the Pros and Cons of using this method to balance a wheel ??
It Aint a Sin to be Poor, Its just un handy as Hell                                                                                               72 cb350F

I've read about them. Users seem uniformly happy. Google them to read user reviews.

I work with a guy that used to run a Love's Truck Stop he saw a bunch of truckers use this. He thought it was snake-oil. He told us about opening one tire and guess what--GOLFBALLS  LOL?
