Aftermarket clutch and throttle assembly
« on: January 02, 2007, 05:03:09 PM »
I am moving the handlebar switches on my CB750 F1 to a remote panel and would like to replace the clutch assembly and the throttle assembly with something cleaner.  I am already running a modern Nissin master cylinder assembly.  I am looking for chrome or alloy assemblies and the throttle assembly only needs a single cable as I have removed the push cable.  I have seen some generic ones on various bike sites but the I am not sure about the quality.  Any recommendations on the best quality options?

I bought one of those black generic throttle assemblies for like 20 bucks. It seems ok. I bought a simple clutch set up from here http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm    . It is a universal but also seems pretty decent for 10 bucks

I picked up clip-ons, controls, clutch lever, master cylinder and lever, gel grips and even the cables for a 2006 GSXR 600 all together for about $30.  E-bay has good deals from time to time.  I even turned around and sold the clip-ons for $15.  Took a little bit of time to wire but I love having all new controls.
