One more question...I bought a new camchain,as a stock, but it looks more weak than old one...New one is D.I.D(top),old one is R.K.Which one I should use?
I'd use the RK. You can't get those anymore either.

Ok Mike! Thanks for very fast answers!I trust your experience. What you think of those HAINDST900cc pistons with that hotter cam above?
They were together when I bought bike, but terrible oil leak in basegasket, noisy valves, blue smoke...So..I have all parts in my table now.
I'm worried of Haindst-pistons very small valvepockets!?!I have problems to get GOOD basegasket+headgasket from Finland.I know you have COMETIC
in U.S,but I don't have VISA..Do you know is there any chance to pay cash straight to their bank-account or some other way?
Yes...those Haindst do you shallow reliefs (and I believe they are cast too).. I personally have not used those pistons so I can't really tell you how much cam they can handle. Yosh pistons had the same problem. I don't know how lift that cam has either though it certainly has more duration. I would guess the pistons should be able to take .350 or .360 lift cam...more if you cut the pockets .030 or so. You should set up a PayPal account. I send stuff to Finland about 1 or twice a month and that's how they pay me. I'm sure I could help you out with the gaskets.

Hi Mike! Okay... I recently picked up a set of NOS Action Four 12.0 to 1 pistons. What mods would you recommend to make them as usable as possible for limited street use on an early K? F2 heads and cylinders? Thick Cometic head gasket? Oil cooler? Dyna ignition? Water injection? Any direction based on your extensive experience would be appreciated by many of us who run across these high-comp pistons. Thanks!
I hate using thicker base or head gaskets because it kills the squish. I guess I would cut the dome down a bit and use an F2 head. I would think the valve reliefs could handle the larger valves but you'd have to check. If you could get it down to 11 to 1 you'd be in better shape. I'd use a Dyna 2000 ignition and oil cooler for sure. Starting it hot could be difficult.

Thanks Mike. I'll measure the dome thickness and see how much room I have. Fortunately the older pistons seem to have more to work with than the new thin castings. If worse comes to worse, I'll just have to use a different piston but I'm going to try every else you've suggested first. Guess I'll start looking for a good F2 head; never expected to need one. Thanks again! Ted

Thanks Mike!I'm busy at work now,I'd like to see pics of modified heads. What's the story of exhaust valveguides without
seals?I think SOHC engine needs those seals.

That is a early head if there are no seals on the exhaust guides. They need to be replaced. Here are some pics of modified chambers.

Those are pics of ported heads(2 intake ports, 1 exhaust). Different stages of porting accounts for the different looks.
