« on: August 22, 2011, 08:24:35 AM »
hey guys, so i was riding my 1975 honda cb750 and i stopped to get gas. i went to start back up and it wouldnt start and i had no oil light or headlight, so i checked, and my main fuse had fallen out somehow. so i slapped a new one in and headlight and oil light turned on. problem is i didnt even have the key in the ignition switch. now if i want it to run i have to take the fuse in and out. does anyone know whats wrong?

You are putting the fuse in out of position.
Maybe the fuse clips are bent or the fuse block melted?
Probably should take the fuse block off, remove the back plate and look at the solder connection.

Might check the ignition switch for fused(overheated and melted) connections, also.

Please keep me posted on how to fix this problem. I have 1975cb550k which has had some fuse problems as of lately, and I cant seem to figure out how to start a thread/post. :-X Anyway, Im replacing all the electrical with a new harness, bracket, sub harness, throttle control(kill switch, starter button) and new cables. Are there any run throughs/procedures i need to adhere by before assembly my new stuFF?

HELP ME POST MY OWN THREAD PLEASE, THANK YOU!I DONT WANT TO LURK OTHERS
