This shot shows the guys from Action Movers, putting our new Haas ST10 into position. There was actually a waiting list for one of these. Took almost three months.

Electrician was in today and wired it up, and Haas will be in tomorrow and fire it up. We could be making parts on it by tomorrow afternoon.

This newest addition brings to six, the number of CNCs in our production shop. All but one are Haas.

Being a tool maker and still related to the industry, the Haas brand is very affordable and can hold
tolerances way past the decimal point all day. Very very consistent machine.

We just discovered this thing is internet capable. When connected up, if it is running and has an issue that creates an alarm, it will send a text message to your phone.

There'll be orders for one of these at Xmas if they find out about the internet/phone/text messaging capabilities.

Becarefull in haveing the CNC constetly connected to the network. We have waterjets that we can connect went I need remote help but otherwise we keep them offline till they totally need to be online(long cycles). Some of the Siemens PLC controlers are easly suseptable to attack and can be used to crash your machines. Ask Iran thats is what set the uranium centrfuges to selfdestruct I forget the name they gave the software that made its way in via thumb drive then linked out.

Anyway the Haas looks really nice, hopefully makes you lots of money and badass CB parts
it looks like a Fanuc control? very nice, little jealous, tell me if you need some waterjetting!!!

Very nice Jay. It's fun to do the stuff in MasterCam, but not being able to then cut it is a drag, and you have 6 to play with.

This machine is located in the United States of America, in the state of California, near Rosamond, right next to Willow Springs raceway, at A.P.E's headquarters. (see the banner at the top of this forum

Really nice! I worked in tooling factory (dies for pressure aluminum, designed EDM electrodes) back in old country.

That kind of thought does not cross my mind. I do not steal things.
I steal ideas though. But I would not steal someone's idea and then profit from it.

I do like to know who has what capabilities and what equipment they have.

Big Jay of APE fame probably is the most prominent 750 Honda guy still in existence that is still supporting our madness. He has the background knowledge from the beginning and still is going strong. He is bringing his production up to modern standards. He has been one of us since before most of us were born. Browse around his website and you'll understand. While there are many of the old heads still around Jay has more capability than all the others. Supporting Jay's efforts supports everyone of us.

Yes we were there for the finals of the european drag racing series at Santa Pod raceway. Someone too this photo of me behind the Lexan at the starting line, and posted it ofer at db.c.

Jay, had I known you were coming, I might have made the effort but I only just got back from the Finnish Finals at Alastaro and the cost of getting into Santa Pod plus hotel and travel gas made it a none starter. You'll just have to wait until the Manufacturers Cup at Valdosta to buy me a hot dog and coke.

If you make it there, look out for us in the paddock, the full team will be out in force.
