Carb Hose Size
« on: May 06, 2006, 11:15:27 PM »
I know it is a boring topic, but one I must ask anyway.

Over the years I have bought many feet of rubber hose for use on motorcycles. The hose here in America has always fit on the inside diameter, but the outside diameter is much larger.

I am about to rebuild my the carbs on my K7. There are three rubber crossover tubes between the carbs themselves. They are hard as a rock and I would like to replace them with the correct or factory type rubber hose or tubing.

Do I have any recourse besides the dealer ?

Thanks
Vance

I used vacuum line of the proper size from napa.
I farted and made my son cry.

Then check it frequently for leaks as it is usually NOT fuel rated.  I thought fuel dissolved this stuff over time. :o
