Not having electrical power is something I'm used to,
so it was not a big deal for us.

All the closed roads, destroyed bridges and houses are the problem.

peace,
michel

Bobby,
you have got that right!
I am functioning on 4-6 hours sleep for past week.
Very busy cutting trees etc etc,
helping neighbors and
then comes the reconstruction jobs I have lined up....
So far looks like I'll be busy for next 8 weeks.  ;D

Good does come out of it , I guess.

Time, just don't have the time to shore up the garage,
besides, I am not really sure how to do it and the people
whom do, are not available. If it goes over the side, then the insurance
people will have to pay for not being timely to repair the wall.

Difficult to find 1 meter rocks and the equipment to move said rocks.

peace,
michel
Michel, if the structure is leaning due to erosion of the ground on one side, just banging some boards on that side is not an option.  If you can get a cable, rope or whatever on the opposite side you could secure it to some stout trees, rocks, etc.

I was looking at the weather and looks like strong T-Storms are headed through here and headed your way. Stay strong Brother, I will pray for both of us.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

I wish I could go. This will be a large event! Lots of $$ will be raised. Hope it gets to the right people! I grew up in the NEK the damage there was not as bad. Groton got a little but theyre used to it.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
