Topic: CB360 Engine and Other Questions

Hey Guys,

I'm getting ready to teardown the engine on my '74 CB360 and I was just wondering exactly how heavy that SOB is? I haven't pulled it out the frame and I'm just wondering if I'll be able to maniuplate it around the workspace by myself or if I'm going to need a bigger bench. Are there any "gotchas" that I should be aware of before removing it from the frame?

Also, a pair of completely unrelated questions:
1. Does anyone know where I can get an inexpensive spoke kit for this badboy? I'd like to rebuild the wheels. Also, does anyone know of any good links to wheel building FAQs/How-tos/Jig PLans? (I've checked Buchanan but they didn't have a CB360 and seemed a big expensive.)

2. How about a good source for 33mm clip ons? I know about Proflows and Woodcrafts, but I'm looking for something cheaper.

 I think its around 125lbs, I know I can mananage to lift one in and out of frame.
I have some excellent links to wheel building sites.....in work. I'll get them tomorrow.
Try Honda for spokes, CB/CM400T if all else fails, IMO Buchannans are way over the top for spoke set ($90.00)

Rebuilt my 360 a couple of years ago and it's safe to say that it's a one-person lift out.  Easier with two, but one can do it.  You'll drop some weight if you remove the case covers beforehand.

I actually had Buchanan respoke my wheels and they did an excellent job.  You're right, however, they aren't cheap.
