I guess just about anything else than the goofy storyline of season 3 has to be decent. I am slowly making my way through season 3 right now, blech.  :P

I immediately thought State of Alaska.

Yeah, I loved them enough to ask the 9th circuit to raid their legislature.

its one of the few network shows i actually make a point to watch.
i think its quite entertaining....
im sure its not "real" or "authentic" enough for alot of people here, but its just a tv show....

exactly..

of coarse there are alot of things in the show that would never fly in a real club , but it's tv , ... but i've been around some clubs (the outlaws, and some of there affiliates  ;) ) .. and it's actually pretty close to true to life

F**king Danny Trejo's in everything!!!!!!!! How many shows and movies has this guy been in? Haven't seen the show, I assume it's about 1%ers and Peg Bundy's in it, I do know that. . . .

Because of this thread, and the fact that the show is on Netflix streaming, I watched the pilot last night.  Seems like a pretty good show, and I really like Ron Perlman, so I'll most likely keep watching.

I have completed the first 2 seasons of SOA and like it alot. I need to go buy the 3rd season before the 4th season airs so I can DVR it. Pretty good show.

as a side note, Breaking Bad is one of the best shows I have ever seen. If you havent seen it do yourself a favor and check it out.

I can't ever seem to find it! I was hoping NetFlix (Canada) would have it from the beginning but no luck....

Been hooked on TruBlood though! My wife is in to all those crappy vampire movies but TB is actually pretty good! and lots of T&A to keep me interested....

Yep, I'm a fan. I forced myself to watch episode 1 of season 1 thinking that it'd just be another crappy Hollywood version of what the 1% biker lifestyle should be like. I was pleasantly surprised with SOA, and apart from the ridiculous plot for season 3, I've really enjoyed it.

Here in Oz we've got a few problems with outlaw motorcycle gangs and various state governments have mooted the idea of banning them, but I have a soft spot for the Hell's Angels MC in particular, a couple of their guys saved me from a beating in 1978, so I still owe them a debt of gratitude. Cheers, Terry.  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Ha ha, it's just a short story mate, I was 18 years old, I rode my shiny new CB750 around to a local convenience store to buy some juice on a warm summer evening. I parked the bike outside, was in there for only 5 minutes, and when I came out, there were around 20 "Skin Heads" hanging around my bike, with one sitting on it. Great............

As I collected my thoughts and started to walk towards them, wondering to myself how many I could take out before I succumbed to the inevitable, there was a roar of unmuffled Harley Davidsons and two massive Hells Angels roared straight at the Skinheads, who scattered in every direction, and just ran away.

I walked up to my saviors, to thank them, but one of them just looked at my bike and said "Jap Shiit", and without another word, they roared away. Funnily, I didn't feel at all offended............... Since then, I've met a few other Angels, and "club business and club politics" aside, as individuals, they've always impressed me as being pretty good blokes. If I wasn't in the Army, I probably would have sold my CB750, bought a Harley and joined the club. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Ok, I am pretty much near the end of season 3 and it looks like it finally came together near the end and redeemed itself. Man that was a slog for a while though.  ::)
