CB550K Master cylinder and caliper rebuild kits

What brand kits have you guys had good luck with. I bought one before and it turned out to be cheap junk and I don't want to rebuild these things twice or more. Thanks in advance!

Genuins honda seal for the caliper (no such thing as a caliper "Kit"), master cyl kit from dave silver--never had a problem with his stuff

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Yes, I used the Dave Silver rebuild kit - no probs.

Yes he is in UK but his prices are good, shipping not extortionate and his service excellent

The Honda rebuilt kit should still available, part #45530-377-305 - Master Cylinder Set.  I don't know why it doesn't show up on the parts fiche for the 550K.  The master cylinder, part #45500-341-771, cross references to a bunch of the 750's (among other things) and the rebuild kit shows up on their fiche.

Has anybody ordered one of those for their 550K?  If so, any issues?

I bought a Honda master cylinder rebuild kit from Bike Bandit.  No problem at all.  About $45 IIRC...

*edit*  Uh oh.  I just realized something.  I have the wrong master cylinder on my 550.  It's from a 350/400 bike.  I realized something was wrong when I went to install my new master cylinder kit on my 750 (which also had a 350/400 master cylinder on it.)  Damn....    :(
