motor in tuning stand

how much of my electrics do i need to intsall on my motor just to get it to run for 10-15 minutes in order to re-torque?

Ignition coils and points interconnected.
a charged 12 v battery connected to the engine case (minus).  And the coil black wires (plus)
Kick start.
A window fan blowing on the motor.

minus and plus mean negative and positive? if so, grand!  it's been several years since i've had to do this.
