Wiring harness for the fuse box
« on: August 30, 2011, 09:52:15 AM »
My PO cut up the fuse box wires and now I am trying to splice them together as I wait fo rHondamans to come in the mail... Any ideas on how I can connect the brown and blue wires together and the black and red one together? Temp fix I know.  Will any wire be compatitable to attach for this temp fix? \

Just use the same guage wire Tews and you shouldn't have any problems.  BTW, how was the graduation?

It went well. Now if you want to do your valve adjustment I am free... I cleaned out my garage today and can not find my .002, .003 gauge feeler. If you have one hit me up and we can do the adjustment.. BTW, I only did it twice so it may take a few minutes to get into the groove but its simple .. dumb question but how do i know its the same gauge

Look at the thickness of the wire, I am guessing it is probably 14 guage or even smaller, like 16.  Is it off the bike?  You could take to a hardware store and compare with what they have.  I have my feeler guage and tomorrow late afternoon/evening would work for me.  I'll give you a call during the day tomorrow.
