Coolest sportster build- something different!
« on: August 30, 2011, 12:51:05 PM »
Turns out Sportsters are good for something !  It actually makes a descent amount of power .....  A friend built this and actually any bike can be  bolted up to it by removing the front end . Amazingly he choose to use a harley instead of a much cheaper jap bike (with liquid cooling ) . It may have reliability issues I told him :) ! LOL  He has a fan system set up for cooling in heavy traffic. The great part is that the thing is still has the stock control pods wired to the steering wheel-
This thing handles great though and does 80 on the highway no problem. Only thing to sort out is the reverese.

cool build but it probably gets about 20 mpg from all the added weight

Nice building job. I put a CB650C behind a Jr. Dragster. Spring time I will finish the cables and do the bodywork. Hope to have some pics soon.
