Do you know this shop in Tampa Fl?
« on: September 08, 2011, 12:36:06 PM »
I am in the process of looking for a shop to do some work. I am in Central Florida, I read on here about someone in Sarasota but can't find the thread again (yes I've searched  ;) ). I have a solid mechanic who does a really good job and is well trained. I also want to have some contacts who know these bikes not just motorcycles.

I found this place in Tampa...does anyone know anything about them?

I am contacting them either way but I highly trust the opinion of people on here and if you know good or bad about them

There is a guy i really like and knows these bikes. Prices are good and he has a reputation for being honest. I bought a lot of parts from him.

Randy's Cycle Shop
423 Suwanee Avenue, Sarasota - (941) 355-5973

His is close to the Bradenton Sarasota airport
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Thanks, I think it might have been Randy's I read about. It sounds familiar.

Do they both only do full custom work or just every day run of the mill stuff too?

Unless he has changed Randy and his guys are old school wrenches. Most of the bikes being worked on in the shop are old Jap bikes. He sells scooters. It is what a bike shop is, mildly disorganized, piles of parts all over the place. There is a Honda dealer in Sarasota too, you can go there and be ridiculed if you are in the mood.  ;D
