Ugly - Motorcyclist's neck cut by wire - Toronto
« on: August 30, 2011, 01:42:19 PM »
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/story/2011/08/29/motorcycle-string.html

"A motorcyclist was rushed to a Toronto hospital after slicing his neck on a piece of wire strung across a road on Sunday."

I would have put this in the Canada section but I suppose that it could happen anywhere

maybe who did it got the idea from the recently posted "stone" movie?many years ago in victoria "greenies" were stringing up similar booby traps against trail riders, they should be drawn and quartered by motorcycles.

They put plant life above human life. Either they are right, or they are irreversibly psychotic. I vote for #2.

When I saw this, I did not think of the stone movie you posted. (thanks ;))
I thought of "The Great Escape"
I do recall hearing of "booby-traps" being set along the course of the "Barstow-to-Las Vegas" desert race years ago. WTF? The course, for the most part, paralleled Interstate 15.

just south of the gold coast here there is a car dirt track rally,,greenies placed and rolled rocks onto the track sometimes as cars approached,,they also brought in already dead road kill like wallabies(small kangaroos)and lizards etc and placed them on the track saying its bad for nature etc,a couple of the road kills had been found to have been frozen, good preparation, the only cold snap here is like in your fridge.

Prolly rode motorcycles to to go set the trap set up. Ugly ocurrence, this is not manslaughter at all, but if they can't even find a clue as to who did it, they can burn in hell if man's law can't remedy it.
