SOHC bike shop clubs??
« on: September 03, 2011, 07:59:09 AM »
I read this in a thread of mine where someone stated we should have more local SOHC members meeting up to work on their bikes together... Is this going in the MIlwaukee, WI area already and I am unaware? If it isn't I think it would be a great thing to start up.....

Are you a member of MilVinMoto? The ChiVinMoto folks meet every Wednesday to wrench, drink beer and talk shop. Not too far of a ride for you and guaranteed to be a fun time.

I'm not sure how it is else where, but there a few of here in the Southeast that get together pretty regularly.  It's usually to ride (most everyones bike is running great right now), but I do and will help anyone out who needs it.  I have a chop waiting on me right now at the shop it has a 76 750 in it in dire need of tuning.  I'm gonna do all the ignition work for him, but he is on his own with the pod tuning.  Got some frontend work to do for a member this winter on his 550 but seals, gaiters, and steer bearings are an easy job.
