Real Quick Question. CB750 motor Removal

Will it come out of the frame without removing filter up front ?

I never have been able to do it.  I do about 5 a year, did one yesterday.

A basic pipe wrench will get a good grip, but watch out for collateral damage.  Time to start researching other methods and pick the one that seems most likely to work for you.  It has to come off eventually.

Slightly off topic, but I read about grinding down a flange on the right lower motor mount to ease install and removal.  Does anyone know if I grind the flange on the motor itself or on the frame itself?  Upon inspection both have a flange.

Slightly off topic, but I read about grinding down a flange on the right lower motor mount to ease install and removal.  Does anyone know if I grind the flange on the motor itself or on the frame itself?  Upon inspection both have a flange.
The tip is to flatten the top of the lug/flange on the frame. Leave the engine alone. Though i don't see why a little off the engine would hurt.
