So, got the filter on, tinkered around with the carbs a little bit, turn on the ignition, start kicking.  Well, that got me nowhere but sweating my ace off with a drained battery.  Picked up a tender and charged the batt up, slapped her back in there, no lights.  WTF.  Think I might have gotten a bum battery.  Gonna give it another go on the tender and see what happens.  C'est la moto.

Hope you didn't buy that battery from the "Battery Geek" off of eBay. His batteries are crap! I got my money back on the dead one he sold me... :P

Haha no, but may be as bad.  It's the cheapo AGM ffjmoore linked in post 24.  Not for lack of effort but, as they say, you do indeed get what you pay for.  Had a birthday party for one of my roomies yesterday, so didn't have a chance to try it on the charger again.  Will update this evening.

Why dont you hook the charger to the battery while its on the bike and then try and start it. The bike should start whether the battery is dead or not. That should give you a good idea if it is the battery alone or if you have some other problem as well.
