Topic: 76 cb 750 ss gas tank question

hey.so i have a 76 cb 750 ss frame..are the tanks alot differnt??..cuz i have a earlyer tank and it doesnt fit....the grooves on the the underside of the tank are too wide..it wont fit on those lil rubber doughnuts on my frame..

Different than what?  K and F model tanks are very different.  Different years of F model, not so much.

i guess it was a dumb question..i was just bord.i know theyre differnt cuz the one i have doesnt work on my frame.i just assumed they were all the same cuz i put a 71 motor in a 76 frame.no problem.
