CB750 racing Arhma
« on: August 24, 2011, 07:08:48 PM »
I'm prepping my 76' cb750 F for the ARHMA race at Miller. I am removing the stator and using a thinner cover for clearance. What should I do to make sure everything is ok in terms of the crank end?
Thanks.

Welcome 4club. It depends what you have in there. If you have removed the starter gear, there will be a oil hole on the crank that will need blocking up.
I seem to remember that oil can still get into the cover so you will need to block off the starter motor hole and where the wire loom goes through the cover if you have no generator in there.
More pics please. ;D ;D ;D

Well there is an opportunity for a machinist.
Make a plug for the CB750 starter hole and sell it.
I have seen many CB750 riders ask for them.
